Opportunities exist both within the Petroleum Engineering program and through the faculty that perform research through research centers such as the the Rock Mechanics and Explosives Research Center.
Recent graduates have found employment with both major producing companies and service companies. Salaries at the MS level tend to run $800-$1000 per month above BS salaries which were reported as averaging $55,900 by our graduates in 2000-2001.
